Why Aren’t You Smiling?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Dallas Dentistry Hello, I’m Dr. Joseph Miranda DDS.  My cosmetic dental practice is called Travis Walk Dental Care. We are located at 4514 Travis Street, Suite 117, Dallas, TX. You can reach us by calling 214-206-9633.

You can probably imagine why I look at smiles everywhere I go in the Dallas area. Whether I am working with a Mid-cities dental patient, having dinner at a the metroplex restaurant, or attending a Ft. Worth sporting event, I notice whether the people around me smile. Whenever I encounter someone with obvious tooth problems, I want to tell them about the procedures that can completely transform their frown into a healthy and beautiful smile.

Are you one of those people who don’t want to show their teeth? I would love to talk to you about a smile makeover. Whatever your excuse is for not seeking dental treatment, I can discuss all of your concerns with you during a free consultation.

Perhaps you are afraid of dental work. Have you ever considered oral conscious sedation? With sedation dentistry, even extensive treatment is virtually pain free. Sedation will calm your mind as well as the nerves in your mouth.

Perhaps the cost of Dallas cosmetic dentistry is holding you back. My classy and technologically advanced staff will be happy to talk to you about financing plans. It is important to remember that if your teeth are decayed, postponing treatment will cost more money in the long run. Filling a cavity is far more affordable dentistry than a root canal procedure or, in the case of an extracted tooth, a dental implant.

You can contact my office at 214-206-9633 or online at http://www.rusmiling.com. My Dallas family dental website contains information about all the general, restorative and aesthetic services we provide.

I can transform your smile into one that you will want to show all the time!

Afraid of the Dentist? Your Dallas Sedation Dentist Can Help If you live near Dallas and experience severe anxiety when undergoing (or even thinking about!) dental treatment, oral sedation is for you.

Conscious sedation dentistry is available in Dallas at Travis Walk Dental Care. We have been providing sedation dentistry in Dallas for several years with excellent outcomes. Whether it is called relaxation dentistry, oral conscious sedation or anxiety-free dentistry, it is completely safe and very popular for our nervous cosmetic and restorative dental clients in the the metroplex area.

Though it may sound impossible, with oral conscious sedation, Dallas dentistry patients can actually relax during dental visits. In addition, healing times for oral surgery and extensive cosmetic dentistry procedures are often shorter if the patient is sedated during treatment.

Sedation dentistry is great for alleviating anxiety for our Dallas patients, and oral conscious sedation can be effective for treating or working with the following:

  • Teeth sensitivity;
  • Fear of needles;
  • A powerful gag reflex;
  • Difficulty controlling body movement;
  • Lengthy multi-procedure visits;
  • Difficulty becoming numb with traditional injections.

If you need dental work more extensive than a filling; such as a root canal, tooth implant, crown replacement or wisdom tooth extraction; call Travis Walk Dental Care at 214-206-9633. When you come to our office at 4514 Travis Street, Suite 117, in Dallas, TX, we can give you more information about sedation dentistry.

Sedation dentistry is only one of the services we offer at Travis Walk Dental Care, where your smile is our top priority!

Let’s Talk About Your Smile

Let’s Talk About Your Smile We are Drs. Miranda and Lepard of Travis Walk Dental Care. Our office is located at 4514 Travis Street, Suite 117, Dallas, Texas. One of the best things about being Dallas area dentists is interacting with our patients. During initial dental consultations, we listen carefully to our patient’s short and long term dental goals.

We enjoy discussing options and developing effective treatment plans tailored specifically to each person. Some of our clients desire a total smile makeover. We explain in detail the treatments available including teeth whitening, dental veneers, orthodontia, crown restoration, and dental implants.

If a client is nervous about undergoing treatment, we discuss oral conscious sedation. Oral conscious sedation, sometimes called oral sedation dentistry, is a great option for anxious patients. Dental visits do not have to be painful!

After the treatment has been completed, it is very gratifying for us to see our patient’s reaction to their new smile.

We never get tired of creating dramatic smile transformations for the best clients in Texas!

If you have been considering a smile makeover, let’s talk about your smile. Call Travis Walk Dental Care at 214-206-9633 to schedule a cosmetic dentistry consultation.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Oral Conscious Sedation Some people experience severe anxiety when undergoing dental treatment. With oral conscious sedation, it is possible to relax during dental procedures instead of being tense and fearful. Oral sedation dentistry, relaxation dentistry, conscious sedation and anxiety-free dentistry are all terms used to describe this type of treatment. In addition to alleviating anxiety, oral conscious sedation can help patients with a variety of conditions.

You may want to consider oral conscious sedation if you have any of the following issues:

  • Strong gag reflex
  • Fear of needles
  • Sensitive teeth
  • Fear and anxiety associated with dental treatment
  • Difficulty getting numb
  • A history of negative dental experiences
  • Trouble controlling body movement due to Parkinson’s disease, Cerebral Palsy or related condition
  • Need extensive dental treatment requiring lengthy dental visits

If you have avoided dental treatment due to any of these factors, give us a call at 214-206-9633. We can give you more information about sedation options and help you determine which one is right for you. At Travis Walk Dental Care we do all we can to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We look forward to discussing your oral health and dental goals.
